I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Briarcliffe College Men’s Hockey program. As you make plans for your future, I assume continuing to play competitive ice hockey is among your concerns. At Briarcliffe, we strive to offer a challenging hockey program along with reasonable and exciting goals. Our environment is simply the best of both worlds – a quality education plus the great sport of hockey. We’re looking to help you grow both academically and athletically.

The Men’s Ice Hockey Team is entering an exciting era. We’re moving ahead with plans to play at the NCAA Division II level starting in 2007. Currently we play in the MCHC and ACHA as a club team. As we move forward, we’re looking for players with skills, commitment, dedication and the will to succeed, both academically and on the ice. Our Men’s Ice Hockey program includes:

• Three full-ice practice sessions weekly
• Practice ice and Home games at Superior Ice Rink, Kings Park
• Fully renovated locker room with stereo system and Direct TV
• Lifting and plyometrics program
• Video analysis of games
• Financial support of the college
• Game announcers and EMT for all home games
• Team apparel and equipment
• Academic counseling and progress reports reviewed by coaching staff
• Experienced coaching staff with over 80 years in hockey
